Fast Fluoride Facts, #2

LONG-TERM EFFECTS OF FLUORIDATED TAP WATER, BOTTLED WATER, and FOOD PRODUCTS:
EPA’s Maximum “Safety Allowance” for Fluoride:  4.0 ppm (parts per million)—with scientific evidence that 1.0 ppm damages the body:
·         EPA’S 1500 Water Safety Scientists, after 11 years of their own studies, are on record in 1997, & every year since then, as unanimously being against fluoridating public water, refusing to have any fluoride in their own office drinking water, demanding a Congressional moratorium on all fluoride in food and water in 2005, and quoting from their own research studies that it’s a causal link to cancer, genetic damage, neurological and brain impairment, bone pathology, and lowering IQ in children;
·         Also evidence of fluoride causing hip fractures in Elderly (University of Utah Dept. of Family & Preventative Medicine-JAMA-1992, 1995);
·         Increase of blood lead level in children that causes learning disabilities, seizures, ADHD, & higher rates of behavior problems with violent crime and substance abuse (CDC & International Journal of Environmental Studies-1999);
·         Accumulates slowly in all the body cells (Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery’s Guide to Family Dental Care-1997);
·         Reduces thyroid function for weight gain, loss of mental acuity (NRC-2006);
·         Damages those with already diagnosed cardiovascular and kidney problems, including death (Mayo Clinic, Fluorides, National Academy of Sciences-1971);
·         Causes aluminum to cross blood-brain-barrier & deposit in the brain for Alzheimer’s & dementia (Brain Research-1998);
·         Evidence of LOWER cavities and LOWER DMFT (decayed, missing, filled teeth) in non-fluoridated communities as compared with fluoridated communities (Forsyth Dental Center, Caries Research-1981).

http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/Data/Fluoride/fluoride.pdf

Food categories with highest fluoride levels were fish, beverages, soups, and tea--
i.e., Canned fish—4.47 ppm—Shellfish—3.36 ppm

What do you do to avoid fluoridated water and foods?  The best way to avoid fluoride and other toxins in our foods, such as preservatives added for long shelf-life, is to cut back or elminate the processed foods in our diets as starters.  These are the very foods that have become a life-long habit for all American families because of their fast preparation time and easy convenience in a box or pre-cooked in a plastic package.
             Fluoride becomes concentrated during any food processing—
i.e., Cereals: 3.8 ppm to 6.3 ppm

Fluoridated Formula—1000 ppm
Baby Food, especially containing chicken—
“high fluoride content...elevated fluorosis risk”

Foods made with mechanically separated chicken—
causes increase of fluoride intake & increases risk of dental fluorosis

Is Your City Fluoridating your Water?

I've been curious to find out which cities are fluoridating their water, and how much fluoride is added.  I've found a website hosted by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) that seems to be pretty accurate (at least in Utah).  Click on this website to find out if your city is fluoridating your water, and how much they're adding:  http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/MWF/index.asp

Fluoride: Class Action Lawsuit, Civil Rights, Cuba Results

Look what's new on the anti-fluoride front:

City of Port Angeles and City of Forks, both in Washington State, have filed a class action lawsuit to the Washington State Supreme Court on fluoride!  http://fluoride-class-action.com/districts/usa/washington/port-angeles-suit

Alveda King is a niece of Martin Luther King Jr. She, Bernice King, and Andrew Young are organizing the black pastors of Georgia against fluoridation as a new civil rights issue.  http://www.priestsforlife.org/africanamerican/blog/index.php/spotsonmyteeth-com-reveals-controversial-fluoride-issue

Cuba stopped fluoridation in 1997, and carries did not rise.

Download my FREE Fluoride Book

Fluoridating water is a personal choice issue.  I've always opposed water fluoridation because it forces everyone to ingest a very toxic chemical all in the name of reducing dental decay.  There is some evidence that fluoride topically applied helps to some small extent in reducing cavities, but as more and more research has been done, it is clear that taking this toxic substance through the body has little or no effect on reducing cavities.
“My investigation of fluoridation started with a simple desire to understand why the health/dental bureaucracies are in favor of adding this highly poisonous substance to our drinking water.  I wanted to go beyond a simple faith in their pronouncements.  I wanted to understand the forces behind the fluoridation campaign--and their motives.

After making many notes and getting angrier and angrier, I decided to bring it all together in this book.

Please don't get mad at your dentist.  It is not his fault.  With this (free) book, you will know more about water fluoridation than your dentist and your public health officials.” http://fluoridegoodorbad.com/
John D.B. Featherstone, head of the Department of Preventive and Restorative Dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco, stated “…the truth is that when it comes to preventing cavities, ‘brushing with fluoridated toothpaste twice a day is as good or better than fluoride in the drinking water…’" Salt Lake Tribune, October 29, 2000, Editorial, “Fluoride: The Hard Truth.”     http://tinyurl.com/cgmtbnf

Baby Food, especially containing chicken—“high fluoride content...elevated fluorosis risk”
ADA & CDC warning NOT to use
fluoridated formula, etc.

Call to Action in Utah!

It's amazing!  A little over 2.5 million people have stopped having fluoride added to their drinking water in 30 communities, and this was only during one year--October 2010 through October 2011!   It's past time for Utah to do the same -- what's YOUR thoughts about the dangers of fluoride in our tap water?  I'm starting the process of another mass mailing to all our State and Health Dept. Representatives, as well as the media, to inform them once again about the dangers of fluoridation in our Utah drinking water.  Some of the above 30 communities had hearings about it on the city level, and the facts convinced the individual city councils to vote it out.  Others in the 30 communities went through the process of getting it put on the ballot, as it was done in Tooele when residents voted it down for the 3rd time (or was it 4th time) in 2005?  What would YOU like to do?  What would YOU like to tell them in this mass mailing?  Please comment below or contact our Orem office, 801-765-1995.  Thank you.

How Do YOU Avoid Depression, Panic Attacks, or Anxiety?

How to avoid being like the 11 percent of Americans who now take antidepressant drugs every day

I have an upcoming booklet about panic attacks, anxiety, and depression that gives some disturbing information about the history of over-diagnosing certain conditions, money interests tied with the meds that are highly recommended, and the changing of the brain chemistry from those same meds.
Adam's article corroborates my booklet with additional research, as well as a refreshing alternative to taking the meds that can save your brain from further damage helps:  1)  spend more time in nature, 2) get some regular physical exercise, 3) eat more omega-3 oils and organic plants, 4) find meaning in your work and in your life through service to others; can you help others around you experience an improvement in their own lives? Can you teach others? Can you lead by example? Can you write inspiring books, letters, etc?
A true story with one of our staff members at a prior employment in 2001 where refugees were working--a lawyer and his wife from Nigeria--stating that they were going back home because the stress in their war-torn country with bullets whizzing around was less stressful than living here with the constant over-scheduled life, the fast pace of everybody and everything around us, coupled with the high taxes that creates a need to have multiple jobs in order to earn a living.  He and his wife were very appreciative of the opportunity in being here, and felt discouraged at not being able to make it since they felt anxious 24/7.  They couldn't deal with the high stress level and anxiety, and moved back to Nigeria.
What experiences have you had with this modern-day plague of panic attacks, anxiety, and depression that usually happens because of our over-stressed lives?  Please feel free to share your story here so that it can be of help to others.
