Fluoride in Kansas unveiled a new website at the Oral Health Kansas Annual Meeting in Overland Park. The site can be found at FluorideInKansas.org. Fluoride in Kansas is a coalition of Kansas citizens that support community water fluoridation. The website focuses on four distinct areas of water fluoridation: The Faces (stories from individuals who recognize the benefits of community water fluoridation), The Facts (plain and simple facts showing that water fluoridation is effective, it saves you and your community money, and it is safe), The Friends (organizations and professionals that you know and trust support community water fluoridation because it is safe and effective) and finally Know Your Fluoride where citizens can find out for themselves if their community is optimally fluoridated.
“The new website is designed to share simple, easy-to-understand facts about the safety, effectiveness and cost savings available through community water fluoridation,” Oral Health Kansas said.
