Arkansas Opponents: Is Fluoride a Sacred Cow?

In addition to those fighting fluoride in the UK and Canada, here's more from those fighting the state legislative mandated fluoride in Arkansas -

SecureArkansas.com http://securearkansasnetwork.org/ states that when their governor signed the mandated fluoridation statewide in March 2011, it had gone through both the house and senate in less than 7 days, in spite of the public's prior voting it down several times.

In addition to public health issues, concern is that fluoridated water will also jeopardize Arkansas's animals, which includes pets, but more importantly tourism with Arkansas's horse-racing industry as well as their poultry industry.  The above website indicates that the horse-racing industry was already affected by fluoride poisioning in California, and includes this 2009 letter written to the then-governor Schwarzenegger:

"Although chickens don't usually live long enough to show long-term effects of water fluoridation..." (as per Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery’s Guide to Family Dental Care-1997 finding evidence that accumulation is usually slow), poultry producers, including Arkansas' Tyson, are already facing bone brittleness, lack of bone strength, calcification tissues, reproduction issues, such as lowered egg production, etc., that are all created by fluoridated water.

The chief summary question they ask is, "If this can happen to horses, what about our children and grandchildren? If water fluoridation is known to cause harm in horses, why is this type of investigation not being done for our children?"  (emphasis added)

Evidence of the same Colorado damage is given in this peer-reviewed, published report on fluoridated water damaging horses in Texas, causing colic, deformed and abscessed hooves, low thyroid functioning, elimination of sweating, urticaria over head and body, anemia, leg fractures, legs growing crooked, ligament deformities, lameness, teeth and gum disease, and chronic fluoride poisioning (very sad pictures):

Yes, good point, why isn't there an investigation being done for our children and grandchildren being saved from fluoridated water??  EPA's own Water Safety Scientists, after 11 years of doing their own research on fluoride, voted against it ever being used, refused to have it in their office drinking water, and in 2005 demanded a Congressional moratorium on fluoride being used in all food, beverages, and water.  Why?  Because they are on record in 1997 as having their own evidence that fluoride causes cancer, genetic damage, neurological and brain impairment, bone pathology, and lowering IQ in children.  What more proof does America need?
